We walked just about everywhere from the hotel to see the Brisbane sights.

The room was very large as was the bathroom.
There was a desk which was helpful.
Breakfast in the restaurant was expensive at 30 AUD but very good a large buffet and lots of coffee.
Parking was also extra at 35 AUD per day, which included valet.
The Stamford Plaza is a very grand hotel, we just didn't feel we fitted in there or were treated like the others as we didn't wear a suit!
The room was stunning and very comfortable and the views amazing.
Housekeeping let the hotel down, of the 5 days we stayed there, the housekeeper came twice and it wasn't really a thorough clean, as there was still other people's hair in the corner of the bathroom for the whole time we stayed there!
Location is ideal if you want to be near the shops, but since we didn't tour around in Brisbane every day, it was a bit of a hike to the railway station each morning to here for the train!
